In this video I answer the questions “Is epoxy waterproof and should it be used as a waterproof membrane?” I get asked every week if I can provide epoxy for people so that they can solve problems caused by water, especially in bathrooms and on unit balconies. It is tempting to lean towards epoxy for these areas because it can be waterproof and attractive at the same time but will it be good enough as a membrane?
