Hi guys, Tim McGary from Epoxy Flooring Co again. Another question that is very common: will the flooring be waterproof? So I’m talking now about a full flake seamless epoxy floor and the short answer is yes.

The best way to show you though is with an example.

So obviously I’m in the middle of a commercial kitchen at the moment. This floor we put down around about a year or so ago and let me show you what happens when you pour water straight on top of it.

So you can see there, every drop of that water is just sitting on top as a big puddle. There is absolutely not a skerrick that is absorbing into the floor. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a waterproof floor.
